MICHA FORESTELL, designer of one-of-a-kind and limited production Fine Contemporary Furniture.
When designing furniture I strive for elegance and boldness by using long crisp lines and fine proportions; and by minimizing transitions and distracting details.
I want to emphasise forms and the dynamic arrangements of shape.
My designs lean towards minimalism and geometry. They are representations of how I see the natural world; full of lines, intersections of lines, angles and triangles.
My work has been exhibited throughout the Kootenays, Canada, and the United States. Currently my work is exhibiting at the Comtemporary Crafts Museum in Portland Oregon at www.contemporarycrafts.org
