Destination Silverton

Destination Silverton is a grassroots association of Silverton area business people who have joined together to foster a dynamic, creative and co-operative environment in which our town and our businesses can thrive. We undertake “business based” projects which include: publication of an annual Destination Silverton brochure; founding and mentoring the Silverton Sunday Market; celebrating the beginning of the summer season with a Solstice Merchants Festival (June 19th this year) – free hot dogs & treats ~ music on main street ~ silent auction ~ in-store specials ~ & all sorts of family fun.

Destination Silverton acknowledges the role played by our historical, cultural and physical environment in creating community, and endeavours to preserve and nurture the best that small town life has to offer.

The group meets on the first Thursday of each month, 7 PM, usually at Horsefeathers, on the Highway in the middle of town. Meetings include socializing as well as business discussions & events planning. We enjoy what we do, and do what we enjoy.
