This year The Whole School is adding another fun fall fundraising event to the roster. In addition to the annual Blue Moon Coffee House event happening on December 9, Whole School families are organizing an Enchanted Halloween Forest Walk for Tuesday, October 31 from 5 – 8 pm.
Bowls of chili, a baked goods concession and hot apple cider (fresh pressed from Press Fest) made from the students’ most recent food adventure – apple picking – will be served outside.
This Halloween event is the culmination of a bountiful fall for Whole School students who have been busy apple picking and making juice. The students rode the W.E. Graham Community Service Society’s new bus for a fun field trip; they picked over 400 lbs of apples to make juice to serve at their annual Harvest Lunch event and at the Halloween Walk.
The Whole School Enchanted Forest Walk will feature the students pumpkin lanterns. Families who are interested in participating in the Enchanted Forest Walk can contact Kristan at 250-226-6747. The cost is $5 per child. Please reserve to ensure every child receives a goodie bag of wholesome treats provided by the enchanting characters that will be visiting our magical school! This event is recommended for ages two to seven. Come and join the Whole School on this special night!
