For Slocan Valley residents from Winlaw to New Denver, you’ll find a special treat delivered to your post office box in the latest edition of the Valley Voice newspaper: a voucher for a FREE coffee at participating businesses in Winlaw, Slocan, Silverton and New Denver! ☕✨

It's been a tough few months for our communities due to the recent wildfires, and local businesses need us now more than ever. So we'd like to buy you a hot beverage to enjoy with friends or neighbours, while helping to support your local coffee establishment.

We’ll be picking up the tab for your FREE hot drink so it’s a win-win for you and the business. The Columbia Basin Trust has stepped up to help encourage you to shop local and support our wildfire-impacted community.

Together, let’s turn a simple coffee into a stronger, more resilient Slocan Valley. 💪🌄

Come on down to the New Denver Friday Market this Friday, September 6 and support our Slocan Valley vendors!

Look out for the Support Slocan Valley info booth at the market from 9:30am-12pm (the market goes from 9:30am to 1:30pm) to get a voucher to receive $10 off a purchase of $25 or more at any of the Slocan Valley vendors!

Vendors will then be able to take their vouchers back to us to get reimbursed! Win-win for everyone.

We created this campaign, with our partners, @communityfutures_centralkoot, in order to help our local businesses who’ve been deeply impacted by the wildfires this summer. A lot of our businesses are struggling and this is your opportunity to support them!

Come on down to the @slocansaturdaymarket at Expo Park and get a voucher from our Support Slocan Valley info booth to receive $10 off a purchase of $25 or more at any of the Slocan Valley vendors! The booth will be open from 10am-12pm and the market runs from 10am-2pm.
