New Local Impact Investment Fund Seeking Founding Members

From November 9^th to December 14^th, Eden Yesh, Invermere Branch Manager for Kootenay Employment Services, project manager to the 2018 Mobilizing Local Capital initiative, and Chair of the BC Community Impact Investment Coalition, will emcee public launch sessions in the following communities: Grand Forks, Trail, Castlegar, Nelson, Silverton, Nakusp and Kaslo. These sessions will highlight key areas of the business plan, governance structure and purpose of the new Investment Co-op.

“We are seeking individual and corporate investors who wish to diversify a portion of their investment portfolios locally, and who want to make an impact in the communities where they live”, Yesh says.

Membership in the Investment Co-op is open to all: individuals, corporations, governments and first nations. All sessions are open to the public and admission is free. There is limited seating in each community so please RSVP right away.
