Rutabaga’s Whole Foods in New Denver

Meet Heather. She’s the owner of Rutabaga’s Whole Foods in New Denver. This very special health food store is packed full of locally-sourced organic food and produce. They also offer supplements, personal care products, gluten-free and vegan options and so much more.

Heather took over the store about 8 years ago with her partner in love and in business, Oliver. She is one of the original team members of Gaia Tree in Winlaw and from her experience there, she knew she had the skills to start up a health food store in New Denver. She saw an opportunity to try something different and she also wanted to make sure the town still had this place, since it was going out of business.

Heather loves serving her community and being a part of her community. She strongly believes in natural food and medicine and helping the people in her community with health and wellness. She’s truly grateful to be of service in this beautiful place we call home.
