The BC Rural Network (BCRN) is a coalition of organizations, communities, and individuals who share a commitment to building the capacity of British Columbia to develop responses to rural and remote community issues. The Network dialogues with rural communities and organizations across BC through a series of annual regional forums, the Biennial BC Rural Communities Summit, an annual province-wide Members‘ Workshop, an e-mail list, regular newsletters, and this website.

Slocan Health & Wellness Center news and grand opening
To welcome the arrival of Donna Gibbons, Nurse Practitioner, to the Slocan Health & Wellness Center, the Village is hosting a formal “Grand Opening Celebration” on Saturday April 11 at 10:00am .
We would love for all of Council to be there to welcome her, as well as Director Walter Popoff, Alex Atamanenko and Katrine Conroy.
The Village will provide some light snacks, perhaps some muffins/cake/drinks.
This will be an opportunity for the public to meet Donna, as well as Leslie Jordan, Acupuncturist, and Dr. Sarah Sherrard, Psychologist.
Residents are invited to drop in to see the clinic space, and possibly make an appointment for a future date.
