In 1972, The Rural Alternatives Research and Training Society (a.k.a. RARTS) was incorporated in British Columbia as a non-profit society.RARTS main purpose was, and still is, to help people live rurally – through educational, cultural, and social endeavors. One of our main goals is to make our services and community centre inclusive and beneficial to the Whole community. RARTS is also a registered Canadian Charity.
