The Mountain Artisan BakeShack

The Mountain Artisan BakeShack is a grassroots, environmentally conscious organic wholesale Bakery operated by German trained Baker Jessica Vollmer. The focus is on nutritious and delicious alternatives to the nostalgic foods people love and folks with compromised digestion can tolerate. Traditional German Sourdough breads with emphasis on whole grains and fresh milled organic flours are being produced daily. Extra long fermentation of wild sourdough culture results in highly digestible Breads. Grains and flours are sourced from small scale farmers in British Columbia specifically from the Okanagan and Creston area.
A variety of sweet treats are also available, produced with organic cane sugar and certainly not on the ” ueber sweet” side of the spectrum.Gluten free staples like Coconut Fudge brownies are popular and produced in a separate facility. All eggs and milk are locally sourced. A new line of Super food donuts which are dairy/gluten free and oven baked is available now. Jessica is doing her best to create great treats to enjoy without feeling guilty about it later.
