West Kootenay power trio, Soundserious, delivers cutting-edge rock fusion with jam band style. Upon first meeting in 2006, Troy Falck and Marilyn Hatfield did the rumba together, and sparks flew. They began playing music together soon after, and it’s been magic ever since. Marilyn’s rhythm background is rich in west African drumming and dance arts, and Troy’s guitar style is self-taught and fluid. Enter bassist, Charles Curtis, a gifted multi-instrumentalist, and you have a recipe for dynamite.
