Playmor Junction lies at the intersection of Highways 6 and 3A marks the southern entrance into the Slocan Valley. A stone’s throw to the north is Crescent Valley.
It has quite a few businesses for such a small spread out community – including a credit union, machine shops, a restaurant and antique store, and a high school.
The southern valley Park’n’Ride is located here – from here, you can catch a bus into Nelson or up the valley as far as Slocan run by B.C. Transit. Click here for more info.
Local vegetable, fruit and fresh fish suppliers often set up roadside stands here during the summer. Stop and sample some of their great produce and snacks.
