Historic cabin, built over 40 years ago on the Old Clay Brick Doukabour Farm, alongside Slocan River. Completely off grid, pet friendly. This one room cabin has a cozy queen size bed, wood stove for cooking and heat, well equipped kitchen, hotel linens. You just need to bring your personal items. The cabin is equipped with a solar panel, limited power is available. Pit toilet and outdoor solar shower, BBQ. Partially covered deck for comfortable wildlife viewing. The Cabin is situated between the Slocan Valley Rail Trail and the Slocan River, which provides easy access to all your outdoor adventures. Outdoor firepit, when open fires are allowed. Bring your dog- the cabin is right beside Bark N Roll Inn, our kennel free dog boarding facility. Be aware you will see dogs looking at you through the fence, our guests are completely fenced in and always kept in the house after dark. More pictures will be posted, we are currently remodeling.

Propane BBQ, Coleman Stove, Ice Chest – first bag of ice supplied, Potable Water, Small Solar Power system for light, Axe, firewood for heat and cooking. Deck Furniture. Outdoor fire pit(s) Screens on windows and door.
Perk Coffee Pot, Kettle, French Press Coffee Pot, pots, fry pan, cutlery, dishes, glasses, wine glasses (plastic and glass) utensils, cutlery, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloth, dish pan, drain rack. Most items needed for cooking, please feel free to ask, if you are wondering about a certain item.
All linens, sheets, towels, blankets, pillows are supplied. Bug netting over bed. Flashlight
Dog Guests: We have a long leash, if your dog needs to be tied. Dog Towel for drying, Welcome Dog treats. If you require a dog bed, it can be supplied, please let us know, so we can have it ready for your pooch on arrival. Please keep dogs off the Queen Bed.
Suggestions on what to bring:
Head Lamp, bug repellant, gum boots- grass is always wet first thing in the morning. Warm jacket for cooler evenings. Living by the River we often get a mist that sets in during the evening or early morning.
